हिमाचल प्रदेश ने पांच बार की चैंपियन तमिलनाडु को हराकर विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी का चैंपियन बन गया है

Himachal Pradesh vs Tamilnadu final: Vijay Hajare Trophy Final; हिमाचल प्रदेश ने पांच बार की चैंपियन तमिलनाडु को हराकर विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी का चैंपियन बन गया है। फाइनल में तमिलनाडु ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के सामने 315 रन का लक्ष्य रखा था। हिमाचल ने 47.3 ओवर में चार विकेट पर 299 रन बना लिए थे। इसके बाद खराब रोशनी के चलते अंपायरों ने मैच का नतीजा वीजेडी नियम (वी जयदेवन नियम) से दिया। हिमाचल की ओर से ओपनर शुभम अरोरा ने 131 गेंदों पर136 रन की नाबाद पारी खेली। वहीं, कप्तान ऋषि धवन ने तूफानी पारी खेली। वे 23 गेंदों पर 42 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे।इसके अलावा अमित कुमार ने 79 गेंदों पर 74 रन बनाए। शुभम को उनकी शतकीय पारी के लिए प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच अवॉर्ड दिया गया। वहीं, तमिलनाडु की ओर से दिनेश कार्तिक ने 116 रन, इंद्रजीत ने 80 रन और शाहरुख खान ने 21 गेंदों पर 42 रन की पारी खेली थी।
शुभम और अमित की साझेदारी 315 रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए तमिलनाडु ने अच्छी शुरुआत के बाद 36 रन के अंदर तीन विकेट गंवा दिए थे। इसके बाद ओपनर शुभम अरोरा ने अमित के साथ 148 रन की साझेदारी कर अपनी टीम के लिए मैच बना दिया। इसके बाद अमित 74 रन बनाकर आउट हो गए, लेकिन शुभम क्रीज पर जमे रहे। उन्होंने कप्तान ऋषि धवन के साथ भी अर्धशतकीय साझेदारी की और अपनी टीम को जीत के करीब ले गए। तमिलनाडु का पहला विकेट गिरा। बाबा अपराजित दो रन बनाकर आउट। विनय गलेतिया ने उन्हें क्लीन बोल्ड किया। तमिलनाडु के दोनों ओपनर पवेलियन लौटे। ऋषि धवन ने जगदीशन को विकेटकीपर शुभम अरोरा के हाथों कैच कराया। आर साई किशोर 18 रन बनाकर आउट। पंकज जैसवाल ने उन्हें प्रशांत चोपड़ा के हाथों कैच आउट कराया। मुरुगन अश्विन सात रन बनाकर आउट। ऋषि धवन की गेंद पर प्रशांत चोपड़ा ने उनका कैच पकड़ा। बाबा इंद्रजीत 80 रन बनाकर आउट। दिग्विजय रंगी ने उन्हें आयुष जमवाल के हाथों कैच कराया। दिनेश कार्तिक 116 रन बनाकर आउट। सिद्धार्थ शर्मा की गेंद पर शुभम अरोरा ने उनका कैच पकड़ा। शाहरुख खान 21 गेंद में 42 रन बनाकर आउट। शुभम अरोरा ने पंकज जयसवाल की गेंद पर उनका कैच पकड़ा। कप्तान विजय शंकर 22 रन बनाकर आउट। ऋषि धवन ने उन्हें कैच प्रशांत चोपड़ा को हाथों कराया। पंकज जायसवाल ने वाशिंगटन सुंदर को आउट किया। उन्होंने सिर्फ एक रन बनाया। सिलाब्रासन भी एक रन बनाकर आउट। पंकज जायसवाल ने उनका विकेट लिया। तमिलनाडु का टॉप ऑर्डर फेल फाइनल मैच में हिमाचल की टीम ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया और तमिलनाडु को शुरुआती झटके देकर हिमाचल के गेंदबाजों ने अपने कप्तान के फैसले को सही साबित किया। मैच के पहले ही ओवर में बाबा अपराजित दो रन बनाकर आउट हुए और एन जगदीशन नौ रन बनाकर आउट हुए। इसके बाद आर साई किशोर 18 रन और मुरुगन अश्विन सात रन बनाकर पवेलियन लौटे। हालांकि बाद में दिनेश कार्तिक और बाबा इंद्रजीत ने पारी संभाली और बाद में शाहरुख खान ने ताबड़तोड़ बल्लेबाजी कर टीम का स्कोर 300 के पार पहुंचाया।
